The Southfield drop-off is located at 20000 W. Eight Mile Rd, on the NE corner of Eight Mile and Evergreen..

It is open 24/7 and open to the public. The drop-off is self-serve.

Boxboard and Cardboard

 

Remove inner bags and plastic windows. Non wax-coated corrugated cardboard. Flatten boxes. No pizza boxes please!

 

Mixed paper

Includes the following: residential office paper, residential mail, envelopes with windows, looseleaf paper, manila folders, paperback books, shredded paper and similar material.

Plastic bottles (#1 & #2)

Rinse bottles and discard caps. No plastic trays, butter tubs, motor oil or antifreeze containers.

Glass bottles (clear, brown, green)

Rinse bottles and discard caps. Please no drinking glasses, light bulbs, or windows.

Metal cans and aluminum foil

Please rinse.

Aerosol cans

Must be empty. Discard caps.

Styrofoam (Polystyrene)

Peanuts, packaging and food containers. Please rinse.

Computers

CPUs, monitors, printers, keyboards, and modems. Recycled or refurbished by Classic Computer Recovery. No TVs or other electronics. Sorry, receipts are not available.

Used clothing and shoes

Must be clean and dry. No heels or boots please.

Plastic bags

Please remove debris from the bags. Look for the plastic bags containers by the Styrofoam collection area.

License plates

Look for the blue container.
