Recycling
If other bins on the street were picked up but yours wasn't, call your city's DPW (see bottom of page for numbers).
Were your recyclables in a bin? The bin must be set out for the drivers to stop.
If a few items were left behind in the bin, check to make sure they are acceptable items.
Trash
Was your trash set out on time? It should be out by 7:00am on the day of your pick-up.
Are your trash containers too heavy? Trash cans may be no larger than 32 gallons and no heavier than 60 pounds.
Construction debris is not accepted at the curb. If these items are left at your curb, call RRRASOC for help in finding another disposal outlet.
If you have bulky items, you do not need to call ahead. Examples of bulk items are: carpet, appliances, and furniture. Set out bulk items out on your regular trash day. Whichever truck is on your street first will call dispatch to send out a bulk truck.
Trash pick-up may be delayed for the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Yard Waste
Yard waste is only picked up from April through the last week of November. If you set out yard waste outside of this season, it will not be picked up.
Yard waste must be in yard waste bags or a container marked with a yard waste sticker. Yard waste is not accepted in plastic bags.
