Residents of RRRASOC’s Member Communities may dispose of HHW at any of our annual events. The events provide a venue for residents to safely discard or recycle hazardous items. The following are examples of HHW and e-waste materials that RRRASOC accepts:

 - Drain Cleaners
 - Mercury Thermometers
 - Aerosol cans
 - Expired prescription medications and over-the-counter medications
 - Metal polish with solvent

- Used Oil
 - Brake, transmission fluids
 - Gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, fuel oil
 - Car batteries and battery acid
 - Antifreeze
 
Electronic Waste
- CPUs
 - Monitors
 - Printers
 - Keyboards
 - Televisions
 - Radios, etc.
 
Garden
- Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides
 - Weed and Feeds
 - Deck Wash
 
Workshop
- Fluorescent bulbs – tubes and CFLs
 - Glue
 - Oil-based paint and primer
 - Solvents, paint thinner
 - Turpentine
 - Varnish
 - Wood preservatives
 
Miscellaneous
- Batteries – Including alkaline, rechargeables, and car batteries
